Snorkeling

I have done snorkeling in Punta Uvita and in Quepos. It's awesome! Maybe some time I'll also try diving. Marine life in Costa Rica is abundant and there is hundreds of places to visit.

I took the Padi basic diving course in Ocotal, in the Pacific coast. The trainers are very professional and underwater scenery is amazing. We saw sharks, many different fish species, coral reefs. The diving tours are very well organized and very personalized. I would recommend it, though I believe that the courses in this beach are arranged so that you have to stay in the Ocotal Resort. It is a beautiful hotel, but maybe not budget minded.
